High-risk shooting for the tactical operator consists of accountability for all rounds fired during movements for hostage or officer rescue, active killer, or warrant service executions. Additionally, it incorporates decision making in compressed time frames, threat recognition and shooting in a team environment near other members.
Day 1
• Hold off drill
• Various Pistol drills
• Point Shooting (Carbine & Pistol)
• Various Carbine drills w/ manipulation, malfunctions, reloads, transitions

• Various drills that will consist of shooting in High-Risk situations
Day 2
• Various drills that will consist of shooting in High-Risk situations
• ------ LUNCH------
• Various shooting drills around barricades to simulate CQB and barricaded person
scenarios
This 2-day High Risk Shooting Course will require each student to bring 1,000 rds of rifle, and 1,000 rds of pistol ammunition. In addition, each student will need a standard tactical load out that has at a minimum, a plate carrier/tac vest and pistol belt, 3 magazines for each rifle and pistol, and the pouches to carry all mags, as well as eye and ear protection and tactical helmet.
This is not a basic shooting course, so attendees should have some background in tactical shooting and weapons manipulation.
