My name is Sgt. Joshua Marks. I'm currently a patrol sergeant with Monument Police Department. I have been with Monument for the past six years. I retired from the U.S. Army back in 2018 after 20 years. I have earned the certification as a CO POST fullskills firearms instructor, and I am a memeber of the Pikes Peak Regional Law Enforcement Academy Firearms Cadre. Occasionally, I'm a guest instrcutor at the El Paso County Sheriff's Office Academy. I am also a FLETC Use of Force Intructor and an NTOA Police Response to an Active Shooter Instructor. I've been a member of the RMTTA for the past few years where I have attended and was an assistant instructor for the Patrol Designated Marksman Course.  I am in charge of the MPD Tactical Patrol Offcier Program and the Patrol Designated Marksman Program.
