This is a two-day course designed for the operational law enforcement sniper. The course will focus on real-world skills in a deployment environment. Instruction will focus on movement through shooting positions, target identification, decisional shooting, speed to engagement, and hostage rescue techniques. Participants will engage photo-realistic targets designed to improve practical accuracy. This course is designed in a building block style, with students training on instructed techniques, then testing them to proficiency.

• Precision rifle capable of 1 MOA with a sling and bipod.
• Scope with adjustable elevation turrets and mil/moa windage marks.
• Rifle-rated tripod.
• Rear bag or sand sock. Multiple sizes are recommended.
• Dope book. Pens/Pencils.
• Cell phone. (For calculator and 4DOF app)
• Backpack.
• Inclement weather gear.
• Hearing protection.
• Call out gear.
• Cleaning kit and torque tool.
• Sunscreen.
• Lunch/water. (There is nothing close to the range and no running water)
