Course Description

This comprehensive tripod shooting course is tailored for active police snipers and designated riflemen, focusing on honing precision shooting skills while integrating tripod techniques into your skill set. Participants will delve into the nuances of utilizing tripods to enhance stability, accuracy, and overall shooting proficiency. The curriculum encompasses tactical scenarios, marksmanship fundamentals, and specialized exercises aimed at refining tripod-specific skills. Through a combination of theoretical insights and practical applications, attendees will start to develop the expertise needed to effectively employ tripods in various operational settings, elevating their capabilities as precision shooters within law enforcement roles.

Student Requirements

Precision rifle capable of 1 MOA with a sling and bipod.

Scope with adjustable elevation turrets and mil/moa windage marks.

Rifle-rated tripod.

Rear bag or sand sock. Multiple sizes are recommended.

Dope book. Pens/Pencils.

Cell phone. (For calculator and 4DOF app)

Backpack.

Inclement weather gear.

Hearing protection.

Call out gear.

Cleaning kit and torque tool.

Sunscreen.

Lunch/water. (There is nothing close to the range and no running water)

Ammo.
